Topic of Conversation: Preaching the Truth in Love: Prophetic Preaching in the Current Context: Jesus was no stranger to preaching a difficult, counter-cultural message - often risky and unpopular. Yet, he loved the people enough to preach the truth. In our current context, often marked by divisive opinion, we will explore how to approach preaching prophetically while remaining pastoral.
Featured Speaker: The Reverend Tiffany Chaney is the pastor developer of Gathered by Grace, a congregation serving young adults in the Montgomery and Tuskegee, Alabama communities. She will also be the featured preacher for Reformation Day 2018 at Emory, (see below), Thursday, October 25, at 11:05 am in Cannon Chapel on the Emory University Campus.
