Southeastern Synod Ministry Endowment Grant Applications – now open

Application period from July 1, 2023 to August 1, 2023

 
The Southeastern Synod Ministry Endowment Committee is now accepting grant applications to apply for grants to enhance ministries in Southeastern Synod Congregations, Conferences, Ministry Partners and Rostered Ministers.  Grants can be applied for ministries that support property enhancements, ministries to people and ministry programs that support and of the Southeastern Synod Strategic Priorities around Diversity and Justice, Evangelism, Formation and Advocacy by congregations, individual members and ministry partners. Rostered Leaders can apply for this grant to support continuing education opportunities, related to the Strategic Priorities. This would be a one-time grant but congregations/Rostered Ministers would be able to apply again for a different category or Synod Strategic Priority focus.  Grant priorities will be given to new applications and this grant will be awarded once per year. The Ministry Endowment Committee will make recommendations in August to be approved by the Southeastern Synod Council at their September meeting on September 9, 2023 and all applicants will be informed following that meeting and disbursements made.
 
All grantees agree will be asked to give a report back to the Ministry Endowment Committee after three months and make a final report at the completion of the purpose of the grant.
