Our synod has a partner synod in Germany! It is known as the Lutheran Church in Augsburg and Swabia. Their bishop - Bishop Axle Piper - and one of his synod colleagues - Pr. Christoph Burger - were present for Bishop Strickland's installation in October 2019, in Atlanta, GA.
Our partnership has continued during this pandemic and the Germany Companion Synod team is excited to announce our upcoming trip over to Germany in June/July 2022!!!
