There is a great need at the moment for emergency assistance funds for families and individuals who have had their homes destroyed or have been made uninhabitable by the tornadoes.  These storms impacted several areas within our synod. In GA, Meriweather County / LaGrange area, the city of Griffin and Spaulding County, and Augusta. In Alabama, Selma and Dallas County, Autauga County near Prattville,  were heavily damaged with loss of life.  Other counties in both Georgia and Alabama have additional areas of damaged as well with more damage reports coming in.  If you can give now to our disaster fund we will be able to reach out through our disaster partners and our congregational care connectors to help these families impacted by the tornadoes as they try to find shelter and meet their basic needs.
